Photography Contest

[Image: photograph of camera lense]Entries for the 4-H Photography Contest are due in the 4-H office on Thursday, December 17, 2009.

Contest categories are:

Category I:  A Story or a Series

Category II:  People, Structures or Buildings

Category III:  Plants or Animals

Each category will consist of a display of five to six pictures spaced equally apart on one piece of poster board with a small caption under each picture. Put your name, school, grade and contest category on the back of your poster. All photographs  must be taken by the 4-H'er. All 4-H contest work must be done by the 4-H'er, but some guidance from parents, leaders, etc. is allowed.

Rules
  1. Pictures must be taken by the 4-H'er entering the contest.
  2. Only 5 - 6 pictures in each category.
  3. One category per 4-H'er.
  4. Be sure to specify which category you are entering on the back of your poster.
Point System for Photography Contest
  1. Pictures  -  60
  2. Clarity of pictures (able to see picture clearly)  -  20
  3. Neatness of work  -  20
Total possible points  -  100
