Concordia 4-H’ers bring home awards from the Central Region Commodity Cookery Contest held at the Alexandria Mall in Alexandria, La. March 19th. The 4-H’ers took their winning dishes from the parish contest and competed against nine other parishes. The results are as follows:
Seafood Division
Shrimp – Jessie Ables, Monterey School, 1st Place
Crab – Jadah Scroggins, Monterey School, 2nd Place
LA Catfish – Kayleigh Jowers, Vidalia Junior High, Red Ribbon
Crawfish – Dori Parks, Monterey School, Red Ribbon
