Concordia 4-H'ers Attend 4-H Summer Camp
[Image: Camp Picture]Fifty youngsters, adults and 4-H agents from Concordia Parish enjoyed the 2009 4-H Camp Program at the LSU AgCenter's Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center in Pollock June 29 through July 3. During 4-H camp the 4-H'ers had the opportunity to participate in one of several tracks including Outdoor Adventures, RECHARGE-Food and Fitness, Dramatic Arts-Let’s Put on a Show, Explore Louisiana: Wetlands, Wildlife and You! and Get Ready, Get SET…Science , Engineering and Technology. The 4-H'ers also participated in recreational activities, swimming, canoeing, and arts and crafts. 4-H'ers from the parish who were recognized for exhibiting outstanding character during the week were: Arden Tiffee, Dori Parks, Sierra Squyres, Jessie Ables and Marquese Thomas.
