Attention 4-Hers! Are you ready to kick off 2009 with our annual Cookery Contest? If so, tie on the apron and prepare your favorite recipe for the judges!
Learning to cook helps you learn about nutrition and healthy eating. It also helps boost self-esteem by learning something new, and accomplishing a task. Cooking is a great way to learn life skills and also provides real lessons in science, math, language and creativity. Learning to cook teaches planning and decision making. It all starts with a recipe and a desire to learn.
