Youth Attend 4-H University [Image: Youth Attend 4-H University]Six Jackson Parish youth were among the more than 1,550 youngsters who participated in the 95th annual 4-H University gathering on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge June 23-25. The three-day event, which is one of the highlights of the LSU AgCenter's 4-H youth development program, included scores of activities. The competition came in areas ranging from agricultural demonstrations to wildlife habitat judging and from career preparation to consumer decision-making. For those who chose not to participate in direct competition, 4-H University included Clover College -- educational activities on topics ranging from team building to healthy decision-making.
