2011 Jeff Davis 4-H Fall Contest Day Results

4-H Fall Contest Day was held at Lacassine High School on November 12, 2011. There were cookery contests in Rice Cookery (with categories of Rice and Meat, Rice Desserts and Rice Side Dishes) and Ground Beef Cookery (with categories of Low Calorie Meal, Quick and Easy Dish and One Dish Meal). All Overall winners in Cookery Contests will represent Jeff Davis Parish in the Area Commodity Cookery Contest in April, 2012. Also we had tests on projects for Bicycle, Electricity, Computer and Food Nutrition. Show & Tell, general demonstrations, public speaking and illustrated talks were held at Fall Contest Day. Written tests were given in Automotive and Compact Tractor to high school 4-H'ers as well.
