[Image: Jr. Leader Trip]The Jeff Davis 4-H Junior Leaders were awarded for their hard work throughout the 2008-09 school year with an awards trip to Galveston, Texas. Junior Leaders had to assist with Junior Leader events throughout the year to be able to attend the awards trip. The awards trip was held July 16-18, 2009.
Junior Leaders traveling to Galveston were Saige Doise, Hunter Doise, Samantha Clawson, Sarah Ardoin, Maggie Mott, Laiha Bergreaux, Rachel Brown, Caroline Robertson, Daniel Guinn and Dillion Richard.
The Junior Leaders toured Moody Gardens, spent a day at Schilleterbahn Water Park, visited the Galveston Seawall and spent a day on the Kemah Boardwalk. Chaperones for the trip were Kori Myers and Silas Cecil, Jeff Davis Parish 4-H agents, Karen Istre, Wayland Istre and Sheena Cecil.
