Officers attended a Quad Parish Junior Leader Officer Retreat from June 30 to July 1 to plan programming for the coming year. The programming theme for the Jeff Davis Junior Leaders for this school year is “4-H Gets Even Greener.” The theme will focus on our environment. The Junior Leaders will hold a variety of activities this year including mini marsh manuevers camp, a grass restoration project, community cleanup projects, recycling projects and a trip to the Louisiana Marine Research Facility known as LUMCOM. Officers and members are looking forward to an exciting year as they work to make “4-H Even Greener."
