Ms. Sally Davis, 4-H Club Leader, 4-H members Willie Wilson and Tedbriell Breaux, and parent Angela Burbank delivered 55 pairs of socks to Ozanam Inn, a shelter for the homeless. The 4-H club conducted a school-wide drive to collect the socks. While at the shelter, they made over a hundred bologna sandwiches to be distributed to residents at the shelter. Tedbriell Breaux was quoted as saying, “It was fun making bologna sandwiches for the homeless. My favorite part was spreading the mayonnaise and topping it with bread. Sometimes we made triple decker sandwiches by mistake! I feel good that I got to help and give food to the homeless. I hope they enjoy it. I feel blessed for helping them. If I could do more for the homeless I would help them again.”
