"Cowboy up" to the Challenge-Regional Challenge Camp will be held on March 2-4, 2012, at Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center in Pollock, La. 4-H Challenge Camp consists of a weekend full of activities to increase self-confidence and self reliance in young people. During Challenge Camp, 4-H Youth will actively particpate in:
- Outdoor challenge activities
- Indoor challenge activities
- Teambuilding activities
- Group Louisiana Food Challenge
- Group boat-building
- and much more.
The goals of the 4-H Challenge Camp are to challenge 7th and 8th graders to set high personal goals as a result of activities designed to develop:
- A positive self concept
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Communication skills
- Decision-making skills
