They were joined by four junior counselors; Angela Nichols, Charlse Nichols, Cameron Smith and Carey Herrington, two adult volunteers, Kelly Edmonds and David Moran; and their 4-H Agent, Jennifer Moran.
The 4-H'ers participated in educational tracks which included FIRE(Food Is Really Exciting), Outdoor Skills, Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET), Wetlands Wildlife and Water, and Dramatic Arts. When they were not participating in educational programs they had the opportunity to participate in recreational time such as archery, indoor games, swimming, line dancing, volleyball, arts and crafts, canoeing, team building, parachutes and cycling, softball, and basketball. Their evenings were filled with fun programs and activities such as dances, movies, shopping for souvenirs in the camp store, and swimming.
The 4-H'ers met students from Cameron, Calcasieu, Jeff Davis, and Vermillion Parishes. The Morehouse girls and boys cabins both won the award for having the cleanest cabin on Thursday.
