[Image: 4-H University Picture]Seven 4-H'ers represented Morehouse Parish at 4-H University on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge June 23-26, 2009. These youth joined 1,600 high schoolers from the state of Louisiana. Youth participated in contests or Clover College, which were educational workshops designed for the youth to come back to our parish to teach. Dakota Hawkins, James Letlow and Zachary Moore competed in the Plant Science competition and placed fifth. Zach Moore aksi was the fifth-place high individual in the contest. Nathan Morrison, Emily Cooper, Katelyn Gray and Mylinda Norsworthy attended Clover College sessions. Nathan Morrison represented Morehouse Parish as a voting delegate. Emily Cooper ran for Northeast regional representative and was chosen as one of our regional representatives. Nathan Morrison was selected as the alternate regional representative. Rodney Seay served as an adult volunteer for this trip.
