[Image: Morehouse 4-H U]Morehouse Parish 4-H'ers attended the 94th Annual 4-H University at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge June 17-20, 2008. Participants took part in contests or attended Clover College, which is a set of educational programs that are designed to help young people bring what they learn back to the parish and use it to conduct workshops. Participants in the contests spent several weeks preparing for their contests. Zach Moore, James Letlow and Dakota Hawkins were on the Plant Science Team. The team earned blue ribbons for their effort, and Zach Moore earned a blue ribbon in the individual scores. The Poultry Judging Team consisted of Denise Bowe, Carey Herrington and Britney Stanfill. This team also earned blue ribbons for their efforts. Charlse Nichols participated in the Fashion Revue's Ready-to-Wear Contest. Katelyn Gray participated in the Sportsman’s Paradise Clover College Program, and Alexis Chaffold participated in the Your Health Rocks Clover College Program.
