Second Annual Spring Garden Symposium

The Natchitoches Parish Master Gardeners will host their second annual Spring Garden Symposium at the Natchitoches Events Center on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

The event will include three guest speakers, lunch, silent auction, vendors, plant and book sales, book signings, and an afternoon tea.

Guest speakers will be Dr. Neil Odenwald, author and former director of the School of Landscape Architecture at LSU, Norman Winter, author and Mississippi State University extension horticulturist, and Peggy Martin, rosarian and Past President of the New Orleans Old Garden Rose Society.

Topics will be Gardening in Small Spaces, Plants for Small Garden Spaces, and Growing Tough Roses In The Southern Garden.

Admission: $30 in advance, limited to 200.
An iris print by local artist Sue Prudhomme will be given to the first 100 registrants.
