4-H Achievement Day

    "Rockin with the H's in 2009" is the theme for the annual 4-H Achievement Day.  This contest is a chance for 4-H'ers to show off all the knowledge they have gotten through your participation in 4-H! The host of this annual event is Peabody Magnet High School.  The date for Achievement Day is Saturday, April 4, 2009.  Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. morning assembly will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m.

    Each 4-H'er can participate in a variety of contests, all 4-H'ers are required to compete in at least 5 contests. Rules are available at all 4-H club meetings, from the club sponsor, or at the 4-H website.  The clubs with the largest amount of participation will receive some of the club points. Winners will be announced at the 4-H Awards Program in May.  The only cost for the event is at the canteen.

Please Note:  Attendance is mandatory for 4-H'ers interested in Summer 4-H Camp, Summer 4-H Field trips and 4-H "U" and other state competitions.
