We will be celebrating the 100th birthday of 4-H in Louisiana so you can be sure we will have a grand birthday celebration!
Camp Date: July 14-18, 2008
Where: 4-H Camp Grant Walker, Pollock, LA
(that’s about 15 miles north of the Wal-Mart in Pineville!)
Who: 4th, 5th, & 6th grade for Rapides Parish 4-H club members
*** YOU MUST have attended 4-H Achievement Day
Costs: $120 fees (required) and optional fees for tee shirts, camp store purchases and pictures
(A deposit of $60 is required of all campers to reserve your place; the balance of fees owed, if any is due in June)
Campers will be able to select from “tracts” (educational, hands-on activities). In addition, campers participate in recreational activities like softball, basketball, kickball, jump rope, swimming, and volleyball. Other choices include handicrafts, visiting with and making friends, shopping for souvenirs at the camp store, and archery.
