Red River Rumble
[Image: Picture of Beef Rumble Flyer]The Red River Rumble will be held November 27-28, 2009, at the Dewitt Livestock Facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, next to LSU-A off Highway 71. It is open to any 4-H'er who exhibits beef and goats.
The Goat Show will be held on November 27, 2009, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Check in will be at 5:30 p.m.. The entry fee is $10 per animal. A $5 late fee will be charged after November 20. There will be a 60 percent premium pay back. The showmanship entry fee is $5 with a 100 percent jackpot. The deadline for goat entries is November 20, 2009. This show will follow LSU AgCenter Spring Livestock Show rules and classes. Multiple enteries are accepted. Contact Rodney Johnson at (318) 767-3968 for more information on the goat show.
The Beef Show will be held November 28, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. Check in time is 8:30 a.m. The entry fee is $20 per animal. There must be at least 10 entries to show by breed. Breeds not having 10 entries will show in AOB. The entry deadline is November 20. There will be a $10 late fee per animal after the 20th. The Beef Show will follow LSU AgCenter Spring Show rules and classes with the exception that steers may show with hair. Multiple entries are accepted. There will be a 60 percent payback. Showmanship is $5 with a 100 percent jackpot.
