Images from the Central Region Health Expo & Blood Drive

The Lunch and Learn was held September 11, 2009 in conjunction with the Central Region Health Expo and Blood Drive at the Dewitt Livestock Facility. A program on "The Importance of Stretching as We Age" was presented by Amy Juneau, associate extension agent from St. Mary Parish. Amy provided tips and demonstrated techniques to help participants improve their flexibility. Increased flexibility will help individuals prevent falls and accidents as they age.

Dean Lee Research Station employees attended, as well as some Central Region employees and Lunch and Learn participants from Rapides Parish.

Attendees enjoyed a healthy lunch -- fresh garden salad and chicken spaghetti.
