Red River 4-H members win at Northwest District Horse Show [Image: horse] Red River 4-H members participated in the Northwest District Horse Show on June 12, 2009. The parish 4-H members participating were John T. Gulledge, Sandra Hunter and Kaitlyn Mangham. These 4-H'ers traveled to Stonewall, La., where the show took place at the Double R Arena. John Gulledge was a winner in the following:  Red Ribbon in Western Showmaship, 13 and Under; Blue Ribbon in AOB and Grade Horse Geldings All Ages; Blue Ribbon in Paint Horse Gelding Foaled in 2005 and Before (4 Year Old); and Blue Ribbon in Paint Horse Mares Foaled in 2005 and Before (4 Year Old). Sandra Hunter was a winner in the following:  Red Ribbon in Pole Bending; 14 and Over; Red Ribbon in Barrel Racing, 14 and Over; Red Ribbon in Trail, 14 and Over; Red Ribbon in AOB and Grade Horse Geldings, All Ages; and Blue Ribbon in Stake Race, 14 and Over. Kaitlyn Mangham was a winner in the following:  Red Ribbon in Barrel Racing, 13 and Under, and Blue Ribbon in Pole Bending, 13 and Under. Each 4-H'er was eligible for participation in the 40th Annual Louisiana 4-H and FFA Horse Show this summer.
