St. Bernard Parish 4-H Jr. Leader Meeting Announcement
[Image: Jr. Leaders participate in a challenge activity at the National Guard Ropes Course.]St. Bernard Parish 4-H Jr. Leaders will hold their first meeting for 2008-2009 on Thursday, September 11, 2008. The meeting will be held in the 4-H Office Trailer located on the front lawn of the Government Complex at 8201 West Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette. The meeting will begin at 5:30 P.M. and will last approximately one hour.
Teens interested in refining leadership skills, doing community service, coastal restoration, working with younger 4-H Club members and making new friends are invited to attend. The Jr. Leader Club is for youth turning 13 years of age before January 1, 2009 through their senior year of high school. Anyone wanting to join is welcome at the group's monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month. For more information please call Lauren Faust or Wayne Burgess at 504-278-4234.
