Louisiana Outdoor Science and Technology Camp is scheduled for Monday, August 4— Friday August 8, 2008 at 4-H Camp Grant Walker. This is the first time the Summer Camp Experience is being offered to 7th and 8th graders. For 4-H’ers who loved going to camp, this is a chance for you to once again experience 4-H Summer Camp. The tracks will be Rocketry, Wetlands, Energy, Outdoor Skills, GPS/GIS and Forensic Science. Participants will be able to choose three of these tracks to participate in while at camp.

The camp is held at Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, a 50-acre campsite located near Pollock, Louisiana on Highway 8 about 15 miles northeast of Alexandria, Louisiana.

If you are currently enrolled in the 7th or 8th grade and are interested in attending, contact your St. Helena Parish agent at 225 / 222-4136.
