St. James Parish 4-H Idol
The St. James Parish 4-H Program will hold its first “4-H Idol Contest” on Saturday, December 5, 2009, in conjunction with the 4-H Food Fest at Lutcher Elementary.
4-H Key Club Application
The 4-H Key Club award recognizes 4-H Club members who have shown outstanding leadership ability in their clubs and in their parishes. The lifetime membership in this honorary club is based on a scorecard which measures project growth, leadership and participation in parish and state 4-H activities. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age by DECEMBER 1 of the current year. Applications must be submitted by the December deadline to the Extension Office.
4-H Award Of Excellence Application
The 4-H Award of Excellence is presented to junior 4-H members who have been in 4-H for two years (including this year) and are between the ages of 9 and 13. A point sheet must be submitted showing 4-H work through record book participation, local club activities, project work, camp and Achievement Day activities. Application forms are due on January 17, 2010.
