[Image: 2008 4-H University]The 2008 4-H University was held at LSU Baton Rouge the week of June 17th-20th. Youth were able to interview for state boards, compete in contests to win trips and awards and participate in Clover College. Some of the contests were demonstrations, public speaking, personal development and livestock judging. Four-H'ers were also able to take part in educational activities and Louisiana 4-H Centennial Celebrations planned during the week.
Four-H’ers that interviewed and were accepted onto Louisiana 4-H Boards from St. Landry Parish are: Gabe Stelly, Opelousas Catholic - Louisiana 4-H Science, Engineering and Technology Board and Jamie Lagrange, Beau Chene - Louisiana 4-H Fashion Board.
