Nineteen 4-H'ers from St. Tammany Parish competed in 4-H University held on the LSU Campus in Baton Rouge from June 17 thru June 20, 2008.

If you are a graduating senior, you should apply for Louisiana 4-H Scholarships, Scott Truck & Tractor Scholarship and Bobby Fletcher Memorial Scholarship. St. Tammany Parish 4-H can enter three 4-H’ers in each scholarship except for all LSU honor scholarships, which have no limit. Applicants for the LSU honor scholarships on the Baton Rouge campus must have participated in 4-H University.

4-H Challenge Camp employs the concept of adventure-based experiential learning which parallels the 4-H hands on, learn by doing philosophy. 4-H Members from the 7th Grade are selected randomly to attend 4-H Challenge Camp each year.
