New Crop of Master Gardeners
This year’s class of Master Gardeners are well prepared to offer horticultural education to their garden clubs, communities, churches and schools. Twenty six recent graduates from St. Tammany Parish have received this honor, as well as earned their name badges and certificates at the 2008 Master Gardener ceremony on October 30, 2008. Dr. Bobby Fletcher Jr., state Master Gardner coordinator, offered words of encouragement and congratulations at this year’s reception.
