2009 Wetlands Program
[Image: 2009 Wetlands Field Trip]The Wetlands Restoration program in Tangipahoa Parish is off to a good start. Many of our schools have participated in the program of growing these plants at their schools and on Friday, March 15, 2009, about 80 4-H members, along with some of their family members and LSU AgCenter agents, went on a wetlands field trip to the area landfill to plant these plants to help the restoration process begin along the water lines.
