4-H members who were 13 years old before January 1 are eligible to attend 4-H University to be held on the campus of LSU in Baton Rouge. 4-H U gives you the opportunity to meet 4-H'ers from throughout the state and compete for trips and prizes through a variety of project-area contests.

2012 Youth Garden Contest
Tangipahoa youth are invited to take part in a fun learning experience which involves growing a home vegetable garden. The contest is competitive and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be awarded prizes valued at $25, $15 and $10.
