Upcoming Events:
September 30 – October 5 - Tangipahoa Parish Fair, all entries accepted on Tuesday,
September 30 from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m ONLY, and pick up is on Sunday,
October 5 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. ONLY!
October 11 - Quilt Expo, Ponchatoula (need volunteers to sell quilt tickets)
October 27 – Area 1 meeting, Jellystone, Robert
October 31 - Deadline for club dues to be paid to Sandra Madere
November 1 – 15 mile yard sale
November 19 - Council meeting, Hammond Research Station **
November 24 – 4-H Sewing Workshop (volunteers please call JoAnna)
January 28 – State Training for newly elected Council Officers (this is a change from the October date!)
** Council meeting, Santa Bear Project (bring new tow, $5 - $10 value, unwrapped, for any age child. All toys must be safe, non-violent, no toy guns). Ornament Exchange (bring an ornament, $5 value, bought or homemade) and pot luck dinner. Westward Ho will provide the meat.
NOTE! If your club is electing new officers and new committee chairmen please get a list into the Extension Office as soon as you can. Thanks! And also, if you have new members that are not on the mailing list please get them in as well, if not they will not be receiving any newsletters or information.
