[Image: cookies ]The LSU AgCenter and the Bogalusa YWCA are once again teaming up to offer the Christmas Expo. The third annual Holiday Expo will be held on December 3, 2009, at the YWCA located at 409 Plaza St. in Bogalusa. The event will feature food and craft demonstrations as well as a Holiday Treats Dessert Cook-off.
Participants can enter a dessert in the cook-off by bringing the dessert and a copy of the recipe to the LSU AgCenter's Washington Parish office on December 2, 2009, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or to the YWCA on December 3, 2009, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Please drop off your entry on paper-ware only. All items will be discarded after judging. Prizes will be awarded for various categories. Demonstrations and tastings will be from 10 a.m. unitl noon.
