The Louisiana 4-H Foundation will sponsor the Key Club Award again this year. Applications are due to the West Carroll 4-H office by Jan. 7, 2013, which is the same date as the Award of Excellence for junior members.
The 4-H Key Club Award in Louisiana gives recognition to 4-H Club members who have shown outstanding leadership ability in their club and in their parish. The object of the program is to encourage project growth. The recipients of the 4-H Key Club Awards can be proud of their contribution to their club and community. A club member may win the award only one time.
The basic requirements are as follows:

Must be 16 years of age by Jan. 1 of the year application is made.

Must have three years of 4-H club work including the current year.

Must have completed one year of active Junior Leadership work before this year.

Must score at least 140 points on the application and scorecard.
