4-H Camp 2009 Forty-two 4-H'ers from West Feliciana attended camp at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center in Pollock in June. They participated in educational tracks such as Outdoor Adventures, RECHARGE (Food and Fitness), Explore Louisiana: Wetlands, Wildlife, and YOU! , Dramatic Arts and S.E.T.  There were also dances, swimming, arts and crafts, a talent show and other activities. Jarid Sturgeon qualified for state shooting competition later this year by shooting a top score in the archery competition at camp. Chrystal Lachney, Toni Pinkney and Lorna Klein attended as junior counselors, and Sherry Alexander attended as an adult volunteer.
