4-H University 2008 [Image: 4-H members at 4-H University] [Image: national conference finalists] [Image: executive committee members]     At 4-H University, which was held at LSU in June, Chrystal Lachney placed 3rd in the Career Preparation contest and was recognized as a member of the Louisiana 4-H Executive Committee for the coming year. Summer Alsadi was elected as a regional representative to the Executive Committee.      Jill Ferguson was a blue ribbon winner in the Public Speaking contest and was recognized at the 4-H University banquet on June 17 as a finalist for the 2009 National 4-H Conference.       Other West Feliciana 4-H members who were blue ribbon winners in competitions at 4-H University were Lily Barber, Wildlife Habitat Evaluation, and Darcey Walsh, Photography.      Four-H members from West Feliciana Parish joined approximately 1,500 4-H youth from across the state for three days of competition, educational programs, campaigning and elections, motivational speakers, dances and more.      Delegates from West Feliciana were: Chrystal Lachney and Sarah Brian in the Career Preparation contest, Jessie Loyd and Darcey Walsh in the Photography contest , Summer Alsadi and Jill Ferguson in the Public Speaking competition, and Lily Barber and Marie Rider in the Wildlife Habitat Evaluation contest.
