Winn 4-H Advisory Council The Winn Parish Extension office held their 4-H Advisory Council meeting on February 10, 2009. Those in attendance identified local needs and priorities to assist agents in developing programming for 2009-2010. Winn Parish Agriculture Advisory Council The 2009 Winn Parish Agriculture Advisory Council met with LSU AgCenter county agent Donny Moon to identify critical issues, programming to meet those needs and volunteers who are willing to assist. Winn Parish Child Care Providers Pictures [Image: Child Care Providers Picture] These child care providers attend classes conducted by Extension Agent Becky Kelley in the Winn Parish Extension Office. During the classes, the providers do hands-on activities to use in teaching the children they care for. 4-H Portfolio [Image: 4-H Portfolio] Complete the portfolio along with a project book to enter the State Record Book competition and win money and fun trips!! The 4-H Portfolio is used to highlight 4-H experiences and accomplishments from project work throughout the year. It replaces the 4-H Member's Record and contains the year(s) of your 4-H service. For Class A and in-home caregivers, the price is $7.50; for Class B providers, the price is $42.50. (The orientation class is mandatory for in-home caregivers, and the price is $10 for that 4-hour class.)
