Dean Lee Station Receives Conservation Award [Image: Coombs and Barnett] The LSU AgCenter's Dean Lee Research and Extension Station in Alexandria has received the 2007 Soil and Water Conservation Society of Louisiana "Good Land Use Award." Weed Science Progress Reports These reports are written each year about research conducted in weed science at the LSU AgCenter Dean Lee Research Station. They are read by the agrichemical industry representatives who have contributed grants in support of parts of this research. They are read by agricultural cooperative managers who help growers decide on what herbicides to use in their crops. And they are read by fellow researchers and extension agents who work across the state, region and country.
