Pecan Research-Extension Station Cultivars [Image: Pecan Research-Extension Station Cultivars Poster]
This poster includes images and information on many cultivars grown in research orchards at the LSU AgCenter Pecan Research-Extension Station. Information includes nut size and shell thickness as well as the average number of nuts per pound and the average percent kernel. The crop from the trees is sold each fall following harvest, cleaning, drying and bagging.
