Located just south of Bossier City on 572 acres, the Red River Research Station is engaged in crops, horticultural, beef cattle and environmental research. The station is a leader in greenhouse tomato studies and has constructed wetlands to study the effects of runoff from agricultural fields. It also conducts disease and entomological research on cotton, corn and soybeans-crops common to northwest Louisiana. |
