(Video) The Reproductive Biology Center is home to research benefitting humans and livestock. Through research involving transgenic goats, scientists have developed a life-saving drug that prevents clotting in heart patients. The center has a history of firsts including producing calves from the oldest reported frozen bovine semen, the first cloned pigs using embryo bisection, and the first domestic cat from nonsurgical embryo transfer.
