(Video) The Southeast Research Station helps Louisiana’s dairy industry survive and thrive. The station is at the center of the dairy-producing region of both Louisiana and Mississippi and serves both states. The facility is a state-of-the-art dairy operation. A primary research focus is improving feed quality at the lowest cost for optimum milk production. Another focus is maximum benefit from animal waste without harming the environment.

2012 Southeast Research Station Spring Field Day

The 2012 Spring Field Day will feature presentations on successful techniques of forage production and utilization for livestock and horse production, including equipment and forage demonstrations. The Southeast Station Spring Field Day will be held on May 31, 2012.
