(TV News 07/09/07) A virus that has affected commercial shrimp for years is now affecting Louisiana crawfish. Officials from several agencies confirmed the existence of White Spot Syndrome Virus in pond-raised and wild crawfish across South Louisiana. Even though the virus can cause significant losses in some ponds, it may not turn out to be devastating to the Louisiana crawfish industry. (Runtime: 1 minute, 49 seconds)
