(Radio News 11/09/09) Under threatening skies, workers at the LSU AgCenter's Sweet Potato Research Station recently rushed to harvest several rows of sweet potatoes. Like the situation faced by many farmers, harvest was slow because of wet conditions, and the potatoes that came out of the field were covered in mud and hard to sort.
