Growers And Researchers Remain Vigilant About Rust

(Radio News 06/26/06) Since LSU AgCenter researchers discovered Asian soybean rust in the fall of 2004, growers have become more vigilant about the disease. Researchers are monitoring sentinel soybean plots growing across the state, and LSU AgCenter plant pathologist Dr. Boyd Padgett says they also are looking outside of soybean fields.
